Let Chris or Vince know if interested in judging the competition. All of our BJCP Study Group Judge Apprentices and current judges are highly encouraged to participate. Please see Chris for a Judge Information Form at the next meeting or contact him (912-667-9733).
Out of Town Judges: We need you too! Please contact Chris (912-667-9733) to receive a Judge Information Form.
It is expected that the competition will take place over sessions on Thursday evening and Friday. Judges & stewards should arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. All entries must be turned in by the deadline. No day-of entries accepted.
BOS round will occur after category rounds are completed and is planned to take place either Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Entry Fees: $6 per entry Pay Pal (preferred method) -> Cash or Check Checks payable to: Savannah Brewers League
Two (2) bottles per entry. All bottles shall be standard brown or green glass with no raised lettering (yes, Sam Adams bottles are ok), 10-16 oz (12 oz. “standard” recommended). Plastic and flip-top style bottles are not allowed. Black out caps with lettering.
Include an Entry Form with your package.
Fill out bottle labels in the on-line entry system and attach to each bottle with rubber band (no tape).
Entries are due by August 25, 2010

The 2010 Summer Suds in Savannah homebrew competition is a BJCP sanctioned competition open to all homebrewers. No professional or commercial entries are accepted. As a “session-style” competition, we are gearing this towards beer categories with an Original Gravity equal to or less than 1.060. The following categories will NOT be accepted in Summer Suds: 5-All Bocks 9E-Strong Scotch Ale 12B-Robust Porter 12C-Baltic Porter 13C-Oatmeal Stout 13D-Foreign Extra Stout 13E-American Stout 13F-Russian Imperial Stout 14-All IPAs 15C-Weizenbock 16D-Biere de Garde 18-All Belgian Strongs 19-All Strong Ales No Meads or Ciders
Categories & Subcategories may be combined for judging, at the competition organizer’s discretion. Beers will be judged according to the subcategories in which they were submitted using the 2008 BJCP Style Guidelines.
