Kristen said that the Dream Host special is no longer available, so web hosting will cost $203.40 for the first year. Chandler made a motion to approve the cost. Members brought up concerns about approving purchases without the treasurer present. Chandler amended his motion to approve the cost after Gene’s approval. It was seconded by J. Eckles. The motion passed. Kristen will send an e-mail to Gene right away and upon approval, she will go ahead with the purchase.

Tech Talk
Tom H. did a demonstration on how he cleans his blowoff tube after fermentation in a glass carboy. Her has a traditional blowoff setup but he always gets a lot of krausen in the tube that is difficult to clean. He puts the tube inside a PVC pipe then attached a weight to a bottle brush. He lowers the weight down the tubing/PVC pipe and pulls the brush out the other side. It is a quick, easy, and efficient way to clean the tube.
